You'd think I had bridal gowns on my brain or something...

Decorate
I'm in the mood for pretty things. And today's pretty things consist of things I could furnish my "bridal shop" with. In order for me not to sit at the computer all day shopping online, I only went to Pier1 and WorldMarket's websites...and somehow I still ended up with a boat load of things I loved. Oh well. :)

My Kind of Find
Mom, Jenn, and I went to a few furniture consignment shops this morning. I saw an awesome orange furry rug at on, a chandelier at another, and a vintage Gucci watch at the last one for only $8! But, I didn't get any of these things. But I did find some pink glasses that I couldn't pass up. They are just totally me!
When we came home, I had a little fun photographing them on the pretty tablecloth during the five minutes of sunlight we had today.

Hello Panda
I have no idea where I have had these before, but when I walked into Target today, they were in the dollar section, and I just had to have them! Really, I cannot remember where I have had them. Mom and Julie had no idea what they even were. Interesting...
Kate Spade
I am LOVING everything Kate Spade right now. Not joking!

Sunny Day...Keepin' the Clouds Away
First Kyle and I played volleyball outside, because it was so stinkin nice!
Then, we made rice krispie treats today! From the recipe on the NY Times website.
And, dad brought home pizza from Papa Murphys! The best pizza ever!
Oh, and my puppy is cute.
Rice Krispie Treats
Original: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/31/dining/311hrex.html
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 bag mini marshmallos
3 cups rice krispie cereal
Butter an 8x8 baking dish.
Brown the butter in a saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
Add the cereal. Mix.
Put into greased pan. Let cool.
We forgot about the stuff in the oven...hence the big bubble. :)
Quiche
Today I made quiche! I've always wanted to try it...never knew it was so simple! I kind of based my recipe off of a Paula Deen recipe, but mostly ignored the measurements. I had almost forgot to photograph it...I remembered after we had already eaten half! :)
I miss cooking...This was fun.
Spinach and Bacon Quiche
6 eggs beaten
1 1/2 cups heavy cream (I used half and half)
baby spinach
bacon cooked and crumbled
cheese (I used a mixture of mozzarella, colby jack, and feta)
9in refrigerated pie crust
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375.
Beat the eggs and blend (in a blender) with the milk, salt and pepper.
In the pie crust, layer spinach, bacon, and cheese. (I eyeballed this-its all about personal preference.)
Pour egg and milk mixture on top. (I didn't end up using all of the milk/egg mixture.)
Place it in the oven. Cook for 35-45 minutes or until egg is set.
